We are experiencing an unprecedented volume of calls, our team are working hard to answer each one and we ask that you are patient. Our phone system does not facilitate a queuing system due to technical issues in the past. We can assure our patients that we are open and staff are answering the phones.

If your call is not of an urgent nature, we ask that you call after 10.30am, our busiest period is between 08.30-10.30am with patients trying to book an urgent appointment for that morning.

Patients who are enquiring about the COVID booster, we ask that you do not call the surgery as our team will call you in order of eligibility. Flu appointments are available for online booking and we encourage the use of the NHS APP or your systmonline account. More information regarding the NHS APP can be found at https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/

Sick notes, repeat prescription requests or anything admin related can be requested through our website at www.birchwoodsurgery.co.uk

Our team are working tirelessly as they have continued to do throughout the pandemic and will not except rudeness. We understand the frustrations of our patients, however the team are not here to take verbal abuse.
