AI Receptionist Trial – Extended

We are pleased to let you know that we are extending the trial of our AI receptionist for a further three months. This will allow us to gather more meaningful feedback from patients using the service.
Patients are encouraged to use the AI receptionist to contact the surgery if they are unable to use the online form. The system will guide you by asking whether your query is medical (for an appointment) or administrative.
When using the service, please speak slowly and clearly. If English is not your first language, the AI receptionist can support over 80 different languages.
Using the AI receptionist helps free up our reception team to focus on more complex queries and improves overall access to our services. It is not intended to replace our reception staff, but to enhance the service we provide and make it quicker and easier for patients to contact the surgery.
We will be arranging a Patient Participation Group meeting over a lunchtime period in the coming weeks. Representatives from InTouch Now, the provider commissioned to deliver this service, will be in attendance to answer any questions.
We will also be sending out questionnaires to gather your feedback. Please do share your experiences with us so we can continue to improve access to our services.
